Abstract: The paper aims to reflect on the reality of scientific research in the Arab world and the scientific research crisis in all aspects related to it in comparison to other developed countries. It also aims at presenting some proposals that can contribute to the development of Arabic scientific research, based on the researcher's view of the Arabic scientific research in the past and present, and proceeding from the roles of Arab societies and their educational institutions to promote the scientific research in the future. The study is based on the case study methodology of collecting and analyzing data through examining the reality, visions and policies of the Arab countries with respect to scientific research in the past, present and future.
